Lazy 8s  Building Neural Pathways & Breathing

Activities that provide opportunities for children to cross the midline reinforce the pathways between the hemispheres and allows for the fundamentals of fine motor skills, such as the development of their dominant hand, as well as enhancing a child's coordination and learning

Lazy 8s Breathing

Deep breathing can be a great tool to help children calm, relax their mind and body.
Start in the centre and use your finger to trace to the left slowly breathing in.
One back in the centre, trace right and breathe out slowly. Repeat until you are relaxed.
